Irene has 14 years experience as a Realtor. The variety of her real estate sales and life experiences have blended together producing her multiple interests. She began as partner to her mother who very quickly put her in charge. The firm she worked for sold only new build homes. She quickly became knowledgeable about the entire home building process; from finding the community that served her client’s needs best to assist in selecting an ideal lot and floor plan for their family. Throw in visiting the building site frequently in her own hard hat and she qualifies to guide a buyer in the steps involved in building a home and working with the developer.
She found that she thoroughly enjoyed working with the 55+ crowd and the Active Adult Community new build and resale field. Her book ‘Retirement Isn’t Boring “ is a result of those many miles driven Scottsdale where she lives and is near equidistant from the farthest Active Adult Communities in all directions. It is not in the best interests of a homeowner seller for their listing agent to be so far away, so she concentrates on listing homes in her own backyard of McCormick Ranch.
Her ease understanding the idiosyncrasies of diverse races and religions is due to being brought up all over the world. Her father was a Pan American pilot and the family lived in Hong Kong and Germany for many years. The family enjoyed the travel to new countries and learning about new cultures and took advantage of the opportunities to do so whenever possible. She is fascinated by Feng Shui and other asian influenced approaches which influence purchasing real estate. She is comfortable with the various customs of the clients she works with.
